PSG Community news site confirmed that PSG has agreed to sell Kylian Mbappe to Real for $271 million.
Accordingly, a meeting between representatives of PSG and Real's board of directors was held on June 21. Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Than, owner of PSG, and Real President Florentino Perez then exchanged messages and reached an agreement on Mbappe's case.

PSG Community confirmed that Real agreed to pay PSG about 215 million USD immediately, along with 55 million USD in additional fees depending on the number of matches Mbappe plays for Real and whether he wins the Ballon d'Or or not.
If it comes true, Real will break the current world football transfer record of Neymar. The Brazilian striker was bought by PSG in 2017, for 263 million USD from Barca.
Mbappe has been playing for PSG since 2017, on loan from Monaco. A year later, the Parc des Prices team activated the buyout clause, making him the most expensive teenager in history at $159 million, plus $38.3 million in additional fees within the following year.
Mbappe has only one year left on his contract with PSG. On June 12, the 24-year-old striker announced that he would not renew his contract, meaning he would be free to leave next summer. Facing the risk of losing their number one star for free, PSG gave Mbappe an ultimatum, forcing the striker to renew or leave this summer.
Mbappe almost moved to Real in the summer of 2022, but changed his mind and renewed his contract because of promises from PSG. However, the French international is said to be disappointed with the French club's development plan and wants to leave. Mbappe has repeatedly expressed that Real is his dream team. The departure of striker Karim Benzema from the Bernabeu has increased this possibility.
