He said that since he was in school, he actively participated in large and small cultural movements of the school and the locality. After finishing high school, with the support of his family, he studied at the Faculty of Music Pedagogy - Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. After graduating, he taught and approached the music environment in Ho Chi Minh City (from 2013-2019). Then he returned to Ca Mau to work in his hometown, close to his family and relatives. In his hometown, he opened a music teaching facility, trained young students and spent more time composing songs. He is currently a freelance musician and a member of the Music Association of the Literature and Arts Association of Ca Mau province.

Musician Sam Lee said that since 2019, when he returned to Ca Mau to live and feel for students and children, he wrote many songs about schools such as: "Ho Thi Ky wings to dream", "A life for us", "Together to shine", "Summer is here", especially the song "Ca Mau in me" as a tribute to his homeland.

Musician Sam Lee loves his homeland through every song he composes and performs.

“After completing the song “Ca Mau trong toi”, I received sponsorship from Quoc Bao Event , and together we completed the MV “Ca Mau trong toi”, conveying the image of the land and people of Ca Mau to audiences near and far. When the MV was released on YouTube and other social networking platforms, I was very happy because the positive effects were getting better and better, happy and proud to be able to contribute a small part in promoting the image of a beautiful, friendly and hospitable Ca Mau”, Musician Sam Lee confided.

In particular, in 2022, the song "Ca Mau in me" received an Encouragement Award from the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and was considered for the A investment prize of the Ca Mau Provincial Literature and Arts Association in the year. At the same time, the song was also included in the collection "Love Songs of Dat Mui", published in 2023. He was happy to receive the support and encouragement of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association and the audience, which created more motivation for him to shape his musical style and write more songs for his homeland.

"Sam Lee is very happy that the song "Ca Mau trong toi" is warmly received. Every time I receive an invitation to sing for the locality, schools, large and small events inside and outside the province, even when I hear someone sing the song "Ca Mau trong toi", Sam Lee is indescribably happy. I am full of pride when spreading pride and love for my homeland through that sound," he shared.

Musician Sam Lee recently attended the 2024 National Music Festival . He was emotional: "Sam Lee would like to thank the Ca Mau Provincial Literature and Arts Association for creating conditions for provincial members to attend this year's National Music Festival and Sam Lee was honored to join "Ca Mau in me" at the festival. The moment Sam Lee sang the song about the land at the southern end of the Fatherland, the whole audience warmly welcomed him. The image of Ca Mau - the land of experience, discovery and the sincerity of the people recreated through the song created a beautiful impression at the festival. Sam Lee is very happy!".

In 2024 alone, Sam Lee released the song “Come back to my hometown!” with a Southern folk melody, praising the hard work, perseverance, and perseverance of the people of the Western region in general as well as the people of his hometown Ca Mau. Recently, Sam Lee accepted to participate in the “Ca Mau Art Tour” program organized by the Provincial Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center, gathering more than 20 artists and 6 musicians from 3 regions of the country. At the program, Sam Lee wrote the song “Come back here with love”, which was enthusiastically supported by the program and the audience.

According to Musician Sam Lee, Ca Mau is blessed with many natural products, beautiful landscapes and a rich ecosystem, especially its people who are honest, kind and hospitable. Through music, he wants to share those beautiful images with audiences near and far.

“In the future, when conditions permit, Sam Lee will definitely produce another MV about the beloved land of Ca Mau through the song “Co thuong nhau ve day””, he affirmed.

Besides, Musician Sam Lee has been inspiring the young generation with many meaningful projects. He shared: "As a freelance musician, I love creating content for video clips and music videos; I often organize filming for students, thereby conveying beautiful images of my hometown, helping children become more aware and confident through each product. Fortunately, during the production process, Sam Lee received a lot of support from parents. Through that, Sam Lee wants to light the fire for those who share the same passion, through the contest program "Four seasons, I sing happily" which will be edited and recorded in Ca Mau. This will be a playground, an opportunity for children to exchange and learn on the occasion of the Spring of At Ty 2025. The contest is a collaboration with Musician Hoang Luong - Head of the Music Department, Vice President of the Literature and Arts Association of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, promising to be an interesting playground in Ca Mau. Sam Lee hopes that children will enjoy it and develop their talents"./.
