According to the representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Tu Ky district, inter-regional aquaculture in the communes of Tai Son, Quang Phuc, Tan Ky nearly 300 hectares wide with 455 participating households, raising grass carp, common carp, tilapia... for high productivity.

Thanks to the application of modern equipment such as automatic feeding machines, aerators, water environment monitoring camera systems, etc., the yield reaches 30 - 35 tons/ha/crop. This yield is higher than the district average of 21 - 26 tons/ha/crop, with some households achieving 40 - 45 tons/ha/crop.

Revenue from each hectare of fish farming is from 500 - 700 million VND, after deducting costs, people make a profit of 150 - 175 million VND/ha.

This aquaculture model has been visited by many agencies and units, and farmers have come to learn and follow.

Tu Ky district currently has 1,783 hectares of aquaculture, with an average yield of 9 tons/ha/crop. Farmers can raise 1.5 crops per year.
