On the evening of May 10, Tuan Hung's live show Awakening took place at Tan Binh Stadium (HCMC). This was the opening night of the Balcony Corner tour 2025.

The show marked Tuan Hung's 30-year career milestone and was also his first live show since moving to the South to participate in Anh trai vu ngan cong gai.

The music night featured guest artists such as People's Artist Tu Long, Dang Khoi, Binz, Mono, Cuong Seven, Phuc Bo, Kien Ung, (S) TRONG, Tang Phuc, BB Tran... along with Cam Van - Khac Trieu and Dam Vinh Hung in the audience.

In the middle of the music night, People's Artist Tu Long appeared, taking the "spotlight" in Tuan Hung's live show because of his comedy with a self-made skit that lasted more than 15 minutes.

He sang the opera version of the song "Hold My Hand" and held hands tightly many times, "confessing his love" to Tuan Hung, making the audience laugh out loud.

Tu Long declared that the talents in the program have their ups and downs, but "Now we love each other, the brothers in the family love each other very sincerely."

After Anh trai vu ngan cong nong gai , the talented guys and Gai con (the name of the fan community of this show) are still too "dependent" so wherever they appear, it's like an extended episode of the show.

The talented guys all have their own careers before the "thorns" but now Gai con is an important part of their audience.

Tuan Hung told the audience: "Some people say I'm trying to hold on to my youth by trying to please Gai Con? That's the truth." He said how could he not fall in love and find ways to please such a young and passionate audience.

Regardless of which talent they are fans of, the Gai con have a very high "fan club" spirit and often encourage each other to support all 33 talents in their common and individual activities. When going to a concert, they cheer and encourage enthusiastically, especially when the talents work together.

To "please the fans" or more accurately, to respect the audience, Tuan Hung also practiced many difficult dance moves to perform. The MC joked that he endured "neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, herniated disc..." to practice fiery break dancing with choreographer Dang Quan.

'It's okay, I'm still young'

At the age of 47, Tuan Hung confided while practicing for his first live show after moving to the South: “There were days when my arms and legs were so sore and painful that I could barely walk and felt like my legs were not mine anymore. That’s when I realized that after 30, my health is not the same as before.

There were times when I thought I couldn't complete the moves in the dance that Dang Quan choreographed. But I didn't want to give up. I believed I could do it.

Now, I have a clearer feeling with each movement of the choreography, but when I wake up in the morning, my body still aches. It's okay, I'm still young."

During the show, Tuan Hung and the guests sang Tim lai bau troi, Se khong co noi - Anh nho em, Monologue, Tinh yeu linh linh, Trach cao - Da co loi loi, La anh day, Ba ke con nghe, Hay ve day ben anh, Hum em s tre long, Hold my hand, Cau vong khuyet ... Among them, there were many hits associated with Tuan Hung's name.

Dang Khoi said: "With Mr. Hung, for this music night, he practiced a lot. I love him very much. Today, when appearing here, I see all those efforts paid off because of your love for Mr. Hung.

I wish you success in moving to the South, regaining your love for music . I wish you to contribute more, live a life of music. I wish you not to be angry anymore."

Dang Khoi and Tang Phuc revealed that in the movie "Fire Rain" about "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai", many shocking secrets will be revealed, including the reason why Tuan Hung is often sulky. The movie will be released on May 16.
