On the evening of January 11, in Hai Phong, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) coordinated with the People's Committee of Hai Phong City to organize a program to introduce typical artists and some outstanding books in the fields of performing arts and literature in 2024.
Tung Duong received the Outstanding Singer of the Year award, People's Artist Tu Long received the Inspirational Artist award.
This is an annual program with the desire to honor outstanding artists in the performing arts and literature industry, and at the same time introduce and encourage artists with high achievements through professional art competitions and festivals in 2024.
In the music field, Tung Duong won the "Outstanding Singer of the Year" award. Sharing when receiving the award, the male singer expressed: "Last year, I received many different awards. That was also my effort, when I always had artistic aspirations. My principle when pursuing this path is to want to connect meaningful artistic values to the community, with sustainability and breakthrough, not temporary ambition.
This is truly the year I was reborn in art. I thought that at the age of over 40, I would choose a quiet life, but the urges inside me still make me conceive new artistic ideas day and night.
A year of receiving many awards, I am extremely happy but always remind myself to try harder, not to rest on my laurels and continue to conquer myself."

In the category of Inspirational Artist, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism honored People's Artist Tu Long. In 2024, People's Artist Tu Long made a strong impression on the audience when participating in Anh trai vu ngan cong gai.
At the program, he participated in many performances inspired by folk and revolutionary culture such as: "Drum rice" (Northern folk song), "Don't keep what you have, don't look for it if it's lost" (musician Bui Cong Nam), "Pieu scarf" (musician Doan Nho), "Mother loves child" (musician Nguyen Van Ty).
He has just been appointed as Director of the Army Cheo Theater. Recently, People's Artist Tu Long also won the Mai Vang Award in the category of Most Favorite Comedian.
