(Dan Tri Newspaper) - On the evening of March 14th, the opening ceremony of the 2025 Ban Flower Festival took place at Dien Bien Stadium (Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province). The highlight was the artistic program "Dien Bien - The Ban Flower Shines Brightly".
The program Dien Bien - Bright Colors of Ban flowers opened the 2025 Hoa Ban Festival, coordinated by the Dien Bien Provincial Art Troupe, with the participation of General Director Viet Dang and musician Duong Truong Giang as Music Director.
The program was organized like a grand music festival, offering the public a vibrant and youthful artistic feast.

The 90-minute program, divided into three chapters, features the themes: Touching the Realm of Memories, Experiencing Colors and Scents, and Unleashing the Essence - Reaching for Brilliance. All of this portrays an emotional journey from the origins of life to the vibrant blossoming of the culture and people of Dien Bien.
Many artists participated in the program, including: Tung Duong, Ngo Lan Huong, Duong Hoang Yen, Sen Hoang My Lam, Nguyen Thu Hang, Le Thanh Phong, Ha Quynh Nhu, Ngoc Khanh Chi, Double 2T, Xe Xe… The program was hosted by MC Tien Anh and Hong Nhung.
The program's stage was grandly designed, covering an area of approximately 700m2, inspired by the majestic mountain ranges of Northwest Vietnam. Combined with a modern LED screen system, it delivered vivid 3D effects, recreating a vibrant, majestic festival atmosphere rich in Dien Bien's cultural identity.
The program opened with a mashup performance of "Proud Flower Petals ," combining two songs, "Dien Bien Welcomes the Homecoming" and " Returning to the Land of Bauhinia Flowers. " The performance was presented by two female Sao Mai winners: Nguyen Thu Hang (2015) and Sen Hoang My Lam (2017).
Despite having completely different vocal styles, the two female artists collaborated seamlessly, complementing each other and highlighting the beauty of the melody and lyrics.

Music director Duong Truong Giang couldn't hide his pride when he shared: "I am very proud of Nguyen Thu Hang and Sen Hoang My Lam as the opening artists for the show."
"When you appear on stage, dozens of meters high, you look incredibly beautiful. You sing on stage as if you're soaring with the audience below, full of emotion."
In the program, Nguyen Thu Hang continued to deliver impressive performances with a series of songs: Hoa Ban Ve (Doan Dang Duc), Trong (Duong Cam), Nha Em O Lung Doi (Duc Trinh). Sen Hoang My Lam performed Dien Bien Xin Chao (Manh Chien - Minh Duc), Xuong Cho Phien (Tuan Ho), bringing a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
At the concert, Tung Duong continued to affirm his class with explosive performances, spreading positive energy through a series of songs associated with his name such as: Rebirth (Tang Duy Tan), Vietnam Towards the Future (Dong Thien Duc).
Not stopping there, he also brought an interesting collaboration with rapper Double 2T in a mashup of "Chiếc khăn Piêu" (Doãn Nho) and "Thanh âm miền núi " (Double 2T), creating a musical space that is both familiar and new.
In particular, Tung Duong surprised everyone by introducing "Nong Nan Dien Bien" for the first time - a brand new song composed by musician Duong Truong Giang as a tribute to this historical land.
The moment he joined the choir of 2,000 soldiers and civilians in singing transformed the stage into a magnificent, emotional, and proud anthem.
Double 2T not only had an impressive collaboration with Tung Duong but also delivered a series of rap-infused songs such as "A Loi" and "Nguoi Mien Nui Chat ". Accompanying him was the young talent Xe Xe, who performed the song "Em Be Chat" , a composition by Double 2T himself.
Meanwhile, Duong Hoang Yen attracted attention with her performance of "Mien Hoa Ban Ngay Moi," a song composed by artificial intelligence (AI).
To perfect this work, Vi Hoang Anh worked on the AI for about half a month, after which musician Duong Truong Giang and director Viet Dang checked and edited it to ensure quality before it was performed on stage. This is considered an interesting experiment in the application of technology in music creation.
Besides, Duong Hoang Yen also conquered the audience with the soaring melodies of Sparkling Rainbow (Hua Kim Tuyen) and the strength in Weighing the World (Ha Anh).
Two Nghe An singers, Le Thanh Phong and Ha Quynh Nhu, brought performances imbued with the breath of the Northwest mountains and forests with a series of songs such as: Choc San Ban Em (Manh Cuong) , Hoi Lam Nha Moi (Minh Cu), Hoa Ban Dien Bien (Minh Cuong), Tieng Khen Mua Ban Bloom (Le Minh - Nguyen Nhu).

Immediately afterwards, singer Ngo Lan Huong created an emotionally charged musical atmosphere with two songs she composed herself: "Walking Amidst the Brilliant Sky" and "Do You Want to Take Me Home?".
The soulful melody and the singer's sweet voice caused thousands of spectators in the stadium to simultaneously turn on their phone flashlights, creating a dazzling and magical scene.
Another interesting highlight of the program was the collaboration between teen singer Ngoc Khanh Chi and musician Duong Truong Giang on the new song "The Brightening Colors of the Ban Flower ," composed by General Director Viet Dang.

Over ten thousand spectators were present at Dien Bien Stadium to cheer on the program, not only with applause and shouts but also by singing along with the artists, creating a vibrant and unifying atmosphere.
