TPO - During the peak day of "Volunteerism for New Rural Development" and the "First Green Sunday of 2025", the youth of Nghe An province implemented many meaningful activities and tasks with a total value of over 2.3 billion VND.

On March 23rd, in Thanh Son mountainous commune (Anh Son district), Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with Anh Son District Youth Union, organized the first ever Provincial-level Volunteer Day for New Rural Development and Green Sunday in 2025. This program is part of a series of activities for Youth Month 2025 and commemorates the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025).

At the event, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union presented a community playground, a youth garden project, and many gifts to children and teenagers in Anh Son district, with a total value of 125 million VND.

Organizing training courses to disseminate knowledge and skills in information technology and essential digital skills to the people; conducting general environmental cleanup...

The organizing committee inaugurated and presented a community playground to the people of Thanh Son commune (Anh Son district).

The Youth Union of BIDV Bank branches in the province donated a youth-built garden worth 20 million VND to the people of Hung Son commune (Anh Son district).

On the same day, Youth Union branches throughout the province simultaneously launched activities in response, such as: environmental sanitation campaigns to eliminate garbage hotspots; and the construction of "Youth-managed roads for security and order".

Constructing roads with the criteria of "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful," mural projects; handing over children's playgrounds; establishing and maintaining "Popular Education Teams," and volunteer teams to transfer new agricultural science and technology.

The total resources for the activities and tasks of Nghe An youth during the peak day of "Volunteerism for New Rural Development and the first Green Sunday in 2025" amounted to over 2.3 billion VND.
