Exchange rate on May 15: USD price remains unchanged on the free market

At the State Bank, the central exchange rate was announced at 24,970 VND/USD, down 3 VND compared to May 14.

With a trading band of ±5% compared to the central rate, the ceiling rate applied is 26,219 VND/USD and the floor rate is 23,722 VND/USD.

The reference exchange rate at the State Bank of Vietnam is 23,775 VND/USD for buying and 26,171 VND/USD for selling.

Reference exchange rates between Vietnamese Dong and foreign currencies at the State Foreign Exchange Reserve Management Department are as follows:

At Vietcombank, the exchange rate for the day was 25,720 - 26,110 VND (buy - sell), down 10 VND in both directions compared to May 14. Similarly, the exchange rate at BIDV Bank also decreased 10 VND when it was announced at 25,750 - 26,110 VND.

At Agribank , USD buying and selling prices are at 25,750-26,100 VND, down 20 VND for buying and 10 VND for selling.

Updated at 3:45 p.m., the exchange rate at VietinBank is 25,757 - 26,117 VND (buy - sell), up 162 VND for buying and 12 VND for selling.

Further survey at private joint stock commercial banks showed mixed fluctuations in USD prices.

On the free market this afternoon, the exchange rate was at 26,380-26,500 VND, unchanged in both buying and selling directions.
