The goal of U.17 Vietnam is to win all 3 points against U.17 Hong Kong. Coach Cristiano Roland and his team are theoretically better than their opponents in terms of expertise, but are expected to face difficulties.
Hong Kong U17 is a team with players with good physique. In the second match on November 24, Hong Kong U17 proved that they are not an easy team to bully, when they almost forced Malaysia U17 (won 1-0) to share points. In fact, Hong Kong U17 players could have scored against their opponents if their strikers had played more effectively.
In Group C, U.17 Vietnam will compete directly with U.17 Malaysia for the top spot, which means the only ticket to the 2026 AFC U.17 Championship finals. Therefore, the Golden Star team needs to maintain stability in their playing style and seize the opportunity to win against U.17 Hong Kong, in order to maintain their advantage in the group.
