VPF achieved impressive revenue
In 2025, with the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons, Vietnamese professional football has made its mark in both competition quality and organization. The 2024-2025 season ended with many memorable marks, witnessing the spirit of dedication, pride in the colors and unique identities of each team. Preparations for the 2025-2026 season were closely coordinated by VPF and the clubs, ensuring compliance with the plan despite many initial difficulties.
One of the notable highlights is the expansion of VAR technology. In the 2024-2025 season, more than 90% of matches in LPBank V-League 1 applied VAR technology. In the 2025-2026 season, this technology continues to be deployed more widely, with the investment of an additional FIFA-standard VAR vehicle, ensuring that nearly 100% of matches in the national championship will apply VAR technology.

VPF's 2025 business performance report shows a stable financial situation, with revenue reaching 101.59% of the plan. Expenditures for VFF, clubs and tournament organization are fully guaranteed. VPF has spent nearly 33 billion VND on advertising activities and television copyright for clubs. Each club representing Vietnam in international tournaments is supported with 300 million VND, with the maximum expenditure being up to 4.4 billion VND depending on competition performance.

The positive business results come from many factors, including close guidance from leaders at all levels and cooperation with partnerFPT Play to ensure financial stability. Communication work continues to be focused on enhancing the image of the tournament, with a season introduction film inspired by a great space war, showing the image of 14 teams as uniquely portrayed robots. The matches are also produced live with modern equipment, increasing the number of cameras and specialized lenses, improving image quality.

The 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of VPF has approved important documents and determined the direction for 2026. The Company will continue to promote the positive aspects achieved, accumulate experience and innovate in the management and operation of tournaments, and strive to complete the set plans to successfully organize the 2026-2027 season.
In addition, in order to improve the quality of tournament organization, VPF has adjusted the salary and meal allowance for supervisors and referees from round 7 of V-League and round 4 of the 2025-2026 first division; at the same time, adjusted the voting structure for referee awards and added awards for match supervisors and referee supervisors who have completed their tasks excellently at the end of the season.
