During the training trip in Qatar, the Vietnam U17 team had a practice match with the Laos U17 team during the training session in Qatar to prepare for the 2023 AFC U17 Finals.

The match lasted 90 minutes and was divided into two halves of 45 minutes each. As for the U17 Vietnam team, having just gone through a period of intensive training in the country, coach Hoang Anh Tuan did not set high demands on his players.

He just reminded the players to focus, relax and show respect to the other team even though this was just a practice match.

The two teams entered the practice match in good spirits.

Overall, U17 Vietnam showed good ball control and attack launching ability. However, the attacks only stopped at creating opportunities but could not finish the goal.

Meanwhile, U17 Laos also showed a lot of progress and affirmed that winning a ticket to the 2023 AFC U17 Finals is completely worthy. Many times, the young players of the land of a million elephants created storms in front of the U17 Vietnam goal with sharp counterattacks.

Neither team scored after two halves and the practice match ended 0-0.

According to the plan, the Vietnam U17 team will play a friendly match with Qatar U17 tomorrow (May 21). This match will take place at 6:30 p.m. (10:30 p.m. Vietnam time) at the Aspire Academy stadium, Qatar.
