The flight bringing coach Cristiano Roland and his team back home departed from Taif city (Saudi Arabia), connecting in Doha (Qatar) and lasted nearly 24 hours.
At the airport, representatives of the Vietnam Football Federation, including Deputy Secretary General Nguyen Minh Chau and Head of National Teams Department Doan Anh Tuan, welcomed and greeted the team.
Despite failing to reach the quarter-finals and missing out on the 2025 U17 World Cup, Vietnam U17 still left a deep impression on fans. Three undefeated matches against top continental opponents such as Japan, Australia and UAE are clear evidence of the resilient fighting spirit, confident and proactive playing style and the desire to constantly improve of the young players.
