On the afternoon of April 28, the People's Committee of Cao Bang city held a regular meeting for April 2025, evaluating the results of implementing socio -economic development, national defense and security tasks in April, and deploying directions and tasks for May 2025.

According to the report, the value of industrial production in the area in April reached 51 billion VND. The total turnover of goods, trade and services reached 672 billion VND. The state budget revenue by April 15 was over 162 billion VND, reaching 43.3% of the plan, up 61.6% over the same period last year. Tourism services continued to develop positively, in April the city welcomed 164,730 visitors (of which international visitors were 19,170; domestic visitors were 145,560). The city has completed the construction and repair of 39/72 temporary and dilapidated houses.

Concluding the meeting, the leaders of the City People's Committee requested units and wards to review the tasks assigned from the beginning of the year to focus on achieving the targets; speed up the implementation of contents related to the arrangement of administrative units and the organization of local governments at 2 levels in the area; strengthen administrative reform; seriously carry out the work of evaluating the quality of cadres in a substantive and objective manner based on the results of assigned work; continue to strictly maintain the combat readiness regime according to regulations, ensuring security and defense in the area; strengthen traffic safety and order, especially on the occasion of April 30 and May 1; strictly manage temporary residence and temporary absence; work safety in fire prevention, fighting and rescue.
