Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced the mourning of comrade Khamtay Siphandone according to the National Mourning ceremony.

Implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on condolences and funeral form for comrade Khamtay Siphandone - former Chairman of the Party Central Committee, former President, former Prime Minister, former Deputy Prime Minister, former Minister of National Defense of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announces:

During the two days from April 4 to April 5, all party, mass, state agencies, socio-political organizations, social organizations, enterprises, schools, hospitals, armed forces units, localities, and central units located in the province will fly flags at half-mast and stop or postpone organizing cultural and artistic programs, sports competitions, and other public entertainment activities.

The flag-raising ceremony is carried out according to Government regulations: The flag is raised at half-mast with a mourning ribbon (1/10 the size of the flag's width, the length of the flag, and only raised to 2/3 of the flagpole's length, using a black cloth band to tie the flag so it does not fly).

The Provincial People's Committee requests agencies, units and localities to seriously implement.
