UEF organizes international scientific conference 'Economics and Business in the digital age'

Following the success of the first edition (April 2024), iCEBD 2025 is a prestigious academic forum that brings together scientists, experts, policy makers, lecturers, researchers and graduate students from many countries such as the UK, the US, Germany, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc. The conference aims to share the latest research results in the fields of economics, finance - accounting, business administration, trade, marketing, tourism - environment management and international integration, with a focus on innovation for sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the digital age.

This is the second time UEF has organized the International Scientific Conference "Economics and Business in the Digital Age"

The conference attracted more than 160 papers from 62 domestic and foreign universities/institutes, of which 106 papers were approved for publication in the conference proceedings. A highlight of the iCEBD 2025 Conference is the presence of many international scientists.

The conference took place with 6 parallel specialized sub-committees, including: Economics: Digital transformation and macroeconomic impact; Marketing: Digital marketing, green branding and digital social responsibility; Corporate governance: Management innovation, digital transformation in SMEs; Finance - Accounting: Application of AI and deep learning in financial analysis; Tourism - Environment: New technology in sustainable tourism and heritage conservation; International integration: Sustainable development in global trade and investment.

International scientists present research results in many fields

In addition to professional content, the Conference is also an opportunity to strengthen international academic connections, expand research cooperation networks and implement interdisciplinary projects between UEF and global academic and business partners.

Dr. Ngo Minh Hai – Vice President of UEF, representative of the Organizing Committee shared: “iCEBD 2025 aims to promote international research cooperation, promote knowledge transfer and innovation. The conference is not only an important occasion to connect the domestic and international academic community, but also contributes to the goal of sustainable economic development, proactively adapting to global challenges of tariffs, economic competition and digital transformation”.

The conference contributes to expanding the research cooperation network and implementing interdisciplinary projects.

Through in-depth activities and practical connections, iCEBD 2025 is an important step in UEF's international integration strategy, while affirming the University's pioneering role in contributing to solving global issues through the lens of education, research and innovation.
