Vladimir Saldo, the head of the Russian-appointed administration in Kherson province, released a video he shot on the Chonhar road bridge, where several craters appeared from missile strikes.

"Another senseless act by the Kiev authorities on orders from London. It solves nothing as far as special military operations are concerned," he said, pledging to repair the bridge and restore traffic.
Ukraine has not claimed responsibility for the attack. The bridge is one of the few links between Crimea and mainland Ukraine via a narrow strait. Russian transport officials told Russia's RIA news agency that repairs to the bridge could take weeks.
The bridge is out of range of missiles Ukraine has used on the battlefield in the past, but within range of new weapons such as air-launched cruise missiles recently provided to Kiev by the UK and France.
Russian investigators said four missiles were fired at the bridge by Ukrainian forces, RIA reported. The news agency quoted a spokesman for Russian military investigators as saying that markings on one missile showed it was made in France.
Ukraine is attacking Russian supply lines in a bid to cut off Moscow's support for occupied territory in the south of the country, where Kiev is in the early stages of a long-planned counter-offensive to retake territory.
Ukraine says it has retaken eight villages so far, but has yet to commit the bulk of its forces to the fight and its troops have yet to reach Russia's main defense lines.
