Attending were: Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai; Deputy Chairmen of the Delegation Affairs Committee: Nguyen Tuan Anh, Ta Thi Yen, Nguyen Dai Thang; members who are full-time National Assembly deputies working at the Delegation Affairs Committee; leaders, officers and experts of the Delegation Affairs Department.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai presented Decision No. 10/QD-UBCTDB15 of the Delegation Affairs Committee on early retirement for Deputy Director of the Delegation Affairs Department Trinh Ngoc Thang according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 of the Government.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Delegation Affairs Committee, Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai expressed his deep gratitude to Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thang for his contributions to the activities of the previous Delegation Affairs Committee and the current Delegation Affairs Committee, and his contributions to the activities of the Center for Training Elected Delegates, now the Department of Delegation Affairs.
Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai stated that, implementing the policies of the Party and the State and according to his personal wishes, Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thang's request to retire under Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP is not simply a personal decision but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility and the example of officials who put the common interest above personal interests. "This is also a major policy of the Party and has been concretized at all levels, especially at the local level from the commune to the provincial level, which has been strongly implemented, both helping to streamline the apparatus and creating conditions for the young generation to develop and contribute," Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai affirmed.
The Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee also acknowledged and expressed his appreciation for the exemplary spirit and willingness to sacrifice personal interests for the common goal of streamlining the organization, innovating, and arranging the staff in accordance with the spirit of the Party and State.
Although he has officially retired, with his capacity, prestige, sense of responsibility and valuable experience, Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai believes that Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thang will continue to make contributions to the Department of Delegation Affairs, the Delegation Affairs Committee and to society in different positions.
Expressing his emotions and sincere thanks for the deep concern and encouragement of the Standing Committee of the Delegation Work Committee and the leaders, officers and specialists of the Delegation Work Department, Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thang affirmed that he will continue to strive with the Party Committee and local authorities of his residence to fulfill his responsibilities as a Party member and a citizen.

At the same time, he expressed his belief that the collective leadership, staff and experts of the Department of Delegation Affairs will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and strength, achieve more results, and successfully complete the tasks assigned by the National Assembly leaders, the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Delegation Affairs Committee.
