Lang Son athletes won 8 medals at the Hanoi Open Wushu Tournament

- From May 25 to 31, the Lang Son athlete delegation competed in the first Hanoi Open Wushu Tournament in 2025. The tournament was organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in Dong Anh district (Hanoi).

Athlete Dinh To Nhu won the gold medal in the 56 kg weight category, age group 2.

At the tournament, Lang Son delegation consisted of 13 athletes (athletes in the province's wushu team) competing in sanda (combat) weight categories in two age groups, including group 1 (born in 2013 - 2014) and group 2 (born in 2011 - 2012); advanced group (no age limit). With seriousness in the training process and determined competitive spirit, the province's athletes won 8 medals of all kinds (2 gold medals, 3 silver medals, 3 bronze medals).

Athlete Ha Ngoc Anh won the gold medal in the 52kg weight category, age group 2.

In particular, athletes Ha Ngoc Anh and Dinh To Nhu excellently won gold medals in age group 2, weight class 52kg and 56kg. With the achievements, Lang Son delegation won second place in the age group 2 of the movement event.

It is known that the tournament has the participation of nearly 200 athletes from 16 units, provinces, cities, and sectors in the Northern region. The tournament is an opportunity for athletes of the province to learn, compete, improve their competition skills, and prepare for high-performance competitions in the coming time.
