Open working space at MSV Company Limited |
Create a friendly environment
At MSV Company Limited (Phu Bai Industrial Park), each production shift is not only hours of hard work, but also a testament to the connection between employees and the company. The workshop space is clean and tidy, the dining area is airy, equipped with air conditioning and a modern cooling system. Food hygiene and safety are strictly followed according to specific procedures. Employees can choose their meals according to their preferences. All of this creates a serious but humane working environment.
Ms. Le Thi Dieu, a worker on sewing line 5, shared: “Not only do we get to work in a clean and safe factory, we also regularly participate in specialized activities, legal discussions, soft skills training, etc. Thanks to that, the working environment is not only a place to earn income, but also a place to learn and grow.”
Mr. Le Quy Hoang, Chairman of the Trade Union of MSV Company, said that the company's corporate culture is shaped by very basic things such as discipline, responsibility, solidarity and sharing. Each production team and each workshop maintains hygiene, time, and a civilized and friendly behavior between managers and workers.
At Scavi Hue Company, corporate culture is nurtured from simple things, respect for employees, discipline combined with care, and dialogue instead of orders. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quang, Chairman of Scavi Hue Company's Trade Union said: "We always focus on creating a friendly working space, where workers can share their opinions and be respected regardless of their position. This is how we retain people and increase productivity."
Corporate culture is not limited to office hours. Scavi Hue Company also connects employees through after-hours activities. Workers can register to join sports clubs and art troupes. Football and mass art exchanges between groups and workshops have become a feature that is maintained annually.
Standardization from consciousness to action
Corporate culture is not found in slogans hanging on the wall, but is demonstrated through specific actions in each enterprise. According to Ms. Tran Thi Minh Nguyet, Permanent Vice President of the Hue City Labor Federation, the criteria for recognizing an enterprise as meeting cultural standards, in addition to complying with the law, the enterprise must also build a healthy working environment, have a practical emulation movement, and ensure the material and spiritual life of employees. It is also transparency in timekeeping, commitment to pay salaries on time, and willingness to listen to opposing opinions with a spirit of respect and openness.
Currently, some small and medium enterprises in the area have also had many flexible ways of working, suitable to their scale. Although some units do not have many superficial activities, they still maintain effective group meetings, give direct feedback, and provide emergency support to employees when they encounter difficulties. These quiet kindnesses, over the years, create the unique identity of each enterprise.
However, not all enterprises focus on building corporate culture. Some units, especially small enterprises, still have difficulty meeting criteria on working environment, fire prevention and fighting, or organizing cultural and sports activities for employees.
Mr. Hoang Trong Lam, Head of the Department of Law and Labor Policy, Hue City Labor Federation, affirmed that the biggest difficulty is still the awareness of business leaders. When they do not clearly understand the long-term benefits of building a corporate culture, they will consider it a burden. On the part of the City Labor Federation, propaganda and training programs on building a cultural working environment are also being regularly implemented in industrial clusters and zones, contributing to spreading awareness widely in the business community.
Building a cultural enterprise is not a one-day or two-day process, but a continuous journey of creation. Each clean and beautiful factory, each happy employee, each responsible boss, are the “bricks” that build a sustainable Hue city.
