Gold continues to "accelerate" strongly in the new week
SJC gold is anchored at 83.1 million VND/tael, world gold has not cooled down, forecast to continue to increase "accelerating" in the new trading week.
At the time of survey at 5:00 a.m. on April 15, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies was as follows:
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 80.60 million VND/tael for buying and 83.10 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, at the time of survey, the listed price of SJC gold was at 81.30 - 82.80 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 80.80 - 82.90 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
The world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 2,343.29 USD/ounce. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank , the world gold price is about 69.848 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 10.752 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
Analyst Nikolai Dudchenko of financial services company Finam said the company does not rule out the possibility that gold prices will continue to rise in the long term to around $2,650-2,700 an ounce.
However, it is important to emphasize that any trend can be accompanied by corrections, meaning that periodic price drops can occur, even with such a strong trend.
Japanese Yen exchange rate at risk of continuing to slide
Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of April 15 at banks, specifically as follows:
At Vietcombank , the buying rate is 158.21 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 167.45 VND/JPY, down 1.44 VND on the buying side and down 0.47 VND on the selling side.
At Vietinbank, the buying and selling rates increased by 0.34 VND, equivalent to 159.00 VND/JPY and 168.7 VND/JPY.
At BIDV Bank, the buying rate decreased by 0.17 VND and the selling rate decreased by 0.18 VND, reaching 158.86 VND/JPY and 167.33 VND/JPY, respectively.
At Agribank, the buying and selling rates are 159.41 VND/JPY and 167.39 VND/JPY - down 0.23 VND in buying and down 0.25 VND in selling.
At Eximbank, the buying price increased by 0.03 VND and the selling price increased by 0.02 VND, respectively at 160.62 VND/JPY and 165.27 VND/JPY.
At Sacombank, the buying price decreased by 0.24 VND and the selling price decreased by 0.22 VND, corresponding to the prices of 161.19 VND/JPY and 166.22 VND/JPY.
Oil prices soar due to Middle East war

Coffee prices "climb" every day
Domestic coffee prices updated at 5:20 a.m. on April 15 continued to reach their peak, increasing by VND800/kg, setting a new record price of VND111,400/kg. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is VND111,200/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is VND111,400/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is at 111,000 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 111,400 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 110,500 VND/kg.
In Dak Lak province; in Cu M'gar district, coffee is purchased at about 111,200 VND/kg, and in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 111,300 VND/kg./.
