Currently, the Cooperative continues to be one of the units participating in the vote for typical rural industrial products at the regional level in 2024.

Mr. Tran Xuan Phong, Director of Phong Tho Honey Cooperative, said: “To develop the market and find potential customers, we regularly participate in conferences and exhibitions to display products in provinces and cities. After being certified as a typical rural industrial product at the provincial level in 2022, in addition to the OCOP quality logo, there is also a logo certifying typical rural industrial products on the packaging, so customers are more secure when using the cooperative's products, which is the basis for creating a fairly solid brand in the market at home and abroad. At this time, the consumption is high, so the products are not produced in time to sell. On average, each year, he exports about 700 - 1,000 tons of honey to the US, 300 tons to the Korean market, 50 tons for domestic consumption and as gifts.

Being certified as a typical rural industrial product at the provincial level has also become a "passport" to bring the Chiem Hoa green bean black tea bag product of Hong Phat Organic Agricultural Cooperative (Chiem Hoa) to a large number of consumers.

Ms. Pham Thi Hong, founder of the Chiem Hoa green bean black tea bag brand, shared that when she first had the product, she brought it to sell everywhere. People tried it and praised it, but when they looked at the product packaging and saw no agencies or units evaluating the quality, they were hesitant to buy it. After the tea was voted a typical rural industrial product, consumers felt more secure when using the product. That is why the output of sales has increased and brought practical results to the facility itself. Although the brand has not been built for long, the products of the cooperative have been trusted and received by people in many provinces and cities. The cooperative's revenue from 2022 to present is about 4.3 - 4.5 billion VND/year.

It can be said that the recognition of typical rural industrial products has opened up development opportunities, affirmed the prestige, quality, brand value and created a foothold in the market for rural industrial production establishments, increased recognition as well as prestige when bringing products to consumers. This is the driving force for rural industrial establishments to continue researching, investing, innovating technology, expanding production scale; focusing on building product brands with beautiful designs, good quality, meeting market demand.

In 2022, after a period of interruption, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a vote for typical rural industrial products at the provincial level and granted certificates to 17 products of 16 typical rural industrial establishments in the province. Including products such as: Forest-scented honey, Hong Thai Shan Tuyet tea, Ngoc Thuy green tea, Tue Tam liver tonic, Thuat Yen dry noodles, Da Vi dry vermicelli, crispy banana chips...

Thanh Huy Construction and Production Company Limited, Thai Son Commune (Ham Yen) operates in the field of concrete production and construction materials... To improve product quality and meet market demand, the company constantly researches and invests in production equipment to create the highest quality bricks. In 2022, the Company's self-locking Block brick product was recognized as a typical rural industrial product and was supported with 300 million VND in machinery and equipment purchases from the national industrial promotion fund. With recognized products, customers come to the business to order more. On the other hand, being supported with funding to invest in machinery and equipment helps the company have more resources to develop production and business.

According to the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting, in 2024, the Center is actively coordinating with districts and cities to organize units to register to participate in the voting for typical rural industrial products at the provincial level in 2024. At the same time, based on the units with products achieving typical rural industrial products in 2022, this year, typical products will be selected to participate in the voting for typical rural products at the regional level.

Accordingly, Tuyen Quang province has 7 units participating in the vote for typical rural industrial products in the Northern region, including forest-scented honey of Phong Tho Honey Cooperative, Ngoc Thuy green tea of ​​Su Anh Cooperative, 3 Shan Tuyet Hong Thai tea products of Son Tra Cooperative (Na Hang), Chiem Hoa green-heart black bean tea bags of Hong Phat Organic Agriculture Cooperative (Chiem Hoa), 9-jar wine of Khanh Xuan Trading and Production Company Limited (Yen Son); Thuat Yen dry noodles of Thuat Yen Agricultural Production Service Cooperative (Tuyen Quang City) and self-locking block brick products of Thanh Huy Construction and Production Company Limited (Ham Yen).

Mr. Dam Xuan Hung, Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting of Tuyen Quang province, said: In recent times, in order to develop typical rural industrial products, the Department of Industry and Trade has carried out many activities to support establishments such as: designing and building product logo labels, supporting the application of advanced machinery and equipment in production, organizing training courses to improve management capacity, building brands, etc. Especially supporting production units to promote their brands and connect with product consumption markets. Accordingly, businesses and establishments have had the opportunity to participate in many conferences, exhibitions and fairs inside and outside the province, online trading events and creating sales channels on e-commerce platforms.

Through the voting for typical rural industrial products, many products with quality and usage value have been honored, creating motivation to expand production and meet the increasing demand of the market.
