For an orderly, civilized and safe Back Beach

On the morning of May 28, the Inspectorate of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism worked with the Tourist Management and Support Center - the unit assigned by the People's Committee of Vung Tau City to manage security and order of the sandbank under the sea during the implementation of the Thuy Van - Bai Sau Road Improvement Project.

Provide minimum services to meet the needs of beach bathing

According to the Center, currently in the Back Beach area, there are two cooperatives, including Vung Tau Tourism Cooperative and Thuy Van Beach Service Cooperative, which are assigned to regularly manage the 1,200m long beach from Nghinh Phong slope to opposite Victory Hotel. These cooperatives provide basic utility services such as renting umbrellas, chairs, swimming buoys, refreshments, keeping personal belongings, etc., and at the same time coordinate in performing tasks of water rescue, environmental sanitation and maintaining security and order.

The 2 cooperatives have been operating stably for many years, contributing to building a civilized image for Vung Tau beach tourism. Each cooperative has 3 lifeguards and 4 security guards on duty during the day and participates in preventing street vendors at night. The business area is cleaned regularly, equipment is arranged in an orderly manner, with uniform designs, creating a clean and beautiful landscape. The service staff is polite and ready to assist tourists.

Tam Hoang Thien has been on duty managing the sandbank under the sea for 6 months.

In addition to the above 2 cooperatives, since November 2024, Tam Hoang Thien Company Limited has won the bid to manage security and order in the sandy beach area under the sea, providing utilities including rescue, environmental sanitation, buoys, and umbrellas to serve tourists during the construction of the Thuy Van - Bai Sau Road Improvement Project. The contract implementation period is 6 months, from November 2024 to April 30, 2025 on a beach section of nearly 2,000m from opposite Victory Hotel to Paradise Tourist Area.

Mr. Pham Khac To, Director of Vung Tau City Tourist Management and Support Center, said that during the past time, Tam Hoang Thien Company Limited has organized the management and provision of basic and essential services to serve tourists well, while coordinating and supporting functional agencies to ensure security, order, environmental sanitation, and emergency water rescue in the Bai Sau beach area at the bidding area.

In order to continue maintaining the rescue force and providing minimum services to meet the swimming needs of residents and tourists in this area until the Thuy Van-Bai Sau Road Improvement Project is completed, the Center has sent a document requesting an extension of the implementation period of the bidding package and has been approved in principle by the People's Committee of Vung Tau City.

Tourists have fun in the 1,200m Thuy Van beach area.

Prepare carefully for the summer peak season

At the meeting, representatives of the three units said that they are creating stable jobs for nearly 400 workers. All services are clearly listed and sold at listed prices, with paper and electronic tickets issued to customers. "The 3 summer months are the peak tourist season, we will focus all our efforts on serving with the spirit of contributing to maintaining a beautiful image and reputation for tourism", said a representative of Vung Tau Tourism Cooperative.

Concluding the meeting, the representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested the Vung Tau City Tourist Management and Support Center to focus on rescue work, serving tourists with a friendly and civilized attitude. At the same time, it is noted that Tam Hoang Thien Company Limited must publicly display the company name and hotline on the price list of umbrella and chair services; the uniforms of employees participating in the service must be uniform, beautiful, distinguishing the business areas of umbrellas, chairs and rescue and security uniforms; training in civilized communication and polite behavior for employees...

Accepting the direction of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Le Tan Nghia, Deputy Director of Tam Hoang Thien Company Limited, pledged to overcome shortcomings and limitations, clearly list service prices with brands, serve customers most attentively, and contribute to building a clean and civilized image for Vung Tau tourism.
