[Video] Hanoi leads the country in the number of industrial property registration applications

NDO - With more than 11,400 intellectual property applications and nearly 10,000 industrial property certificates granted in 2024, Hanoi City holds the leading position in the country in the field of intellectual property, affirming its leading role in innovation and knowledge-based economic development.

Hanoi City has issued many Resolutions and decisions to support domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in registering intellectual property protection for trademarks, inventions, plant varieties and special products.

Effectively implement programs to support intellectual property registration for OCOP products, craft village products, and science and technology products.

Up to now, there are about 200 OCOP products protected and developed intellectual property.

Hanoi also continuously leads the country in the local innovation index (PII) in 2022, 2023 and 2024, standing out in both innovation output and input rankings, with 14/52 component indices ranking highest nationwide.
