[Video] Hanoi maintains stable enrollment plan, ensures students' rights

NDO - Despite the change in administrative units from July 1, Hanoi city affirms to maintain the same plan and time for organizing preschool, grade 1 and grade 6 enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year, in order to ensure the rights and minimize disruption for students and parents.

According to the plan, this year's high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27. The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi will take place on June 7 and 8. The city will announce the exam scores and admission scores at the same time, no later than July 6, 2025. Admissions to primary schools will be conducted online from July 1, including admissions to grade 1 from July 1-3, admissions to 5-year-old preschool from July 4-6, admissions to grade 6 from July 7-9; direct admissions will be from July 13-18.

It is expected that on May 21, the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training will announce the locations for the 10th grade entrance exam and on June 4, the locations for the high school graduation exam. This year, the enrollment rate for public 10th grade in Hanoi is 64%, an increase of 3% compared to last year.
