The 2026 Asian Women's Championship qualifiers (Group E) will take place from June 29 to July 5 at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ), with the participation of the Vietnamese women's team and opponents from the UAE, Guam and Maldives. The home field advantage will be the motivation for coach Mai Duc Chung and his team to win a ticket to the next round.
The team will gather from May 6 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center and train abroad in June to improve their skills. At the 2022 Asian Women's Championship in India, the Vietnamese women's team for the first time in history passed the group stage and won the right to enter the quarterfinals.
