Not only is it a destination that attracts a large number of domestic audiences, Viet Phu is also known as a place where many international cultural exchange activities take place, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnamese culture to the world .
Most recently, on the afternoon of May 28, Viet Phu Thanh Chuong was honored to welcome the First Lady of Hungary, Zsuzsanna Nagy, to visit as part of her official visit to Vietnam with Hungarian President Katalin Novák. As someone who has made many contributions to the preservation of Hungarian folk cultural heritage, the First Lady is particularly interested in the role of individuals in preserving and promoting the national cultural identity.
At Viet Phu, the First Lady visited traditional architectural works, learned about folk cultural artifacts and met and talked with painter Thanh Chuong - founder of Viet Phu - and his family.
Speaking here, she shared: “I have heard a lot about this fairy garden, about the artist - its founder - and about the life partner who always accompanied him. And now that I am here, I see that the truth is much more beautiful than the introductions.”

The presence of the First Lady of Hungary is a great honor for the family of painter Thanh Chuong, and is also a vivid demonstration of the appeal of Vietnamese culture in the eyes of international friends.
Mrs. Ngo Huong, the artist's wife, who has spent more than 25 years with him building the palace, shared: "The presence of the Lady is a meaningful encouragement for the journey of preserving culture that Viet Phu has persistently pursued. We are truly grateful for the Lady's warmth, empathy and subtle sharing - not only with Viet Phu, but also with Vietnamese culture".
Born in the late 1990s, Viet Phu Thanh Chuong is the result of a persistent and passionate creative journey of artist Thanh Chuong. Not only painting, he was determined to “build a picture with living space”, where each roof, gate, brick, statue… carries a cultural story.

On an area of nearly one hectare in Soc Son, he collected, relocated and restored dozens of traditional architectural works such as stilt houses, laterite houses, communal houses, pagodas, village gates, combined with a system of sculptures, statues, folk murals and natural landscapes typical of the North.
Unlike traditional museums, Viet Phu does not “preserve” culture in a static sense, but maintains the flow of memories through living in the same space, feeling through personal experiences, and organizing many regular cultural and artistic activities.
Painter Thanh Chuong once shared: “When I started working on Viet Phu, no one believed that an artist could do this. But I believe that an artist, if passionate enough and deeply understanding of national culture, can not only paint a picture, but also create a cultural space.”
The fact that Viet Phu Thanh Chuong was chosen as a destination in the itinerary of the First Lady of Hungary, Zsuzsanna Nagy, is not only a recognition of her personal efforts in preserving traditional culture, but also demonstrates the increasingly important role of Viet Phu in the global cultural exchange network - where heritage is not only displayed, but also "lives" with people today.
