VietABank completes upgrade of Oracle's most advanced Core Banking | Digitalization | Finance

VietABank has quickly launched its digital transformation strategy by implementing a core banking upgrade project. After more than 1 year, VietABank has successfully converted its Core Banking system to the most advanced new version today - Oracle Flexcube 14.7.

VietABank operates new core banking system

Core Banking 14.7 is the foundation for VietABank to update new features for payment deposits, savings deposits, domestic money transfers, personal accounts, business accounts, personal/business loans, limit and collateral management, trade finance, capital and foreign exchange, ATM/POS systems... as well as improve the bank's management.

Thanks to the new core banking system, business processes will be automated, on-screen operations will be simplified, helping tellers to quickly process transactions and shorten customer waiting time. The new system will also support a unified Digital Banking interface on all browsers and electronic devices, making customers comfortable and easy to use...

Immediately after operating the new Core Banking system, VietABank domestic credit cards were also launched to meet the needs of spending first, paying later and used in Vietnam and some countries in the Napas alliance.

Mr. Cu Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of VietABank, said: "In parallel with the transition to the new Core Banking, VietABank has carefully prepared for the launch of a series of convenient service products on the new core system platform and Domestic Credit Card is one of the first products. Domestic credit cards in particular and digital banking products launched in the coming time in general will provide interesting experiences, suitable for the trends and needs of the majority of Vietnamese customers".
