Vietjet engineers have finished updating the software.
The results have affirmed Vietjet's technical capacity, quick response ability and effective safety management system.
According to the announcement of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), all A319/A320/A321 aircraft need to be updated with software/hardware to ensure safety and limit disruption to flight schedules. Vietjet has mobilized domestic and foreign resources, closely coordinated with CAAV and Airbus to complete the update process quickly and synchronously.
Mr. Uong Viet Dung, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), assessed that the airlines had seriously and urgently implemented the measures as soon as Airbus issued an urgent warning and EASA issued a directive, and acknowledged the spirit of support and coordination between airlines.
Vietjet leaders said that the airline always puts passenger safety first and operates operations safely, continuously, and stably for passengers.
