Vietlott has a new Chairman

Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) has just appointed CEO Nguyen Thanh Dam as Chairman.

Vietlott has been without a Chairman since the end of March after Mr. Le Van Hoan was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Development Bank (VDB).

The Minister of Finance has decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dam as Chairman of Vietlott. Mr. Dam was born in 1974, has a bachelor's degree from the National Economics University and a master's degree from the National Institute for Policy Studies in Japan. He has worked at Vietlott since the company was established in 2012.

During the period 2012-2018, he held the position of Deputy General Director and General Director from 2018 to present. Before that, he also had 16 years of working experience at the Department of Banking and Finance ( Ministry of Finance ), including the position of Head of the Lottery and Prize Games Department.

After Mr. Dam became Chairman, the Ministry of Finance also assigned Mr. Pham Ngoc Tu - Deputy General Director of the Company to be in charge of operating Vietlott.

After more than 6 years of operation, Vietlott has recorded more than 90 million winning tickets with a total payout of more than 15,277 billion VND. Of which, the lottery products Mega 6/45, Power 6/55 have more than 300 tickets winning the billion-VND Jackpot.

In the coming time, Vietlott aims to continue adding new products, adding more points of sale, and developing online sales channels. Last year, the company achieved revenue of more than VND 6,270 billion , an increase of 22% compared to 2021.
