The increase in capacity is concentrated on key routes and tourist routes such as between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and prominent destinations including Da Nang, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, Hue, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Quy Nhon, Pleiku, Chu Lai, Dong Hoi, etc. to meet the increasing demand for travel, visiting relatives and vacationing of people during major holidays. Currently, the occupancy rate on some of the airline's flights has reached 70-80%.
On the journey of "Taking off with the nation", Vietnam Airlines continues to affirm the role of the National Airline through a series of meaningful activities on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines shared: “April 30 is a sacred milestone in the history of the nation. As the national airline, we not only focus on serving the increasing travel needs of passengers, but also wish to spread the spirit of gratitude and national pride through meaningful activities, connecting the present with history”.
In April, Vietnam Airlines will also put into operation a special version of the aircraft bearing the image of the Lac bird - a sacred cultural symbol of the Vietnamese people. The Lac bird flies from the past, reaching out into the present, carrying the desire for peace and solidarity, expressing the message of connecting generations that Vietnam Airlines wishes to spread on every flight.

2025 also marks 30 years of formation and development of Vietnam Airlines (1995-2025), a journey of attachment and companionship with the country's development.
