Ha Long Bay earned nearly 200 billion VND from ticket sales in the first 3 months of 2024

On March 23, according to information from the Ha Long Bay Management Board, from the beginning of the year to the end of March 2024, the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay welcomed more than 610,000 tourists. Of which, there were nearly 82,000 domestic tourists and more than 529,000 international tourists.

Of the above tourists, nearly 145,000 stayed. There were only over 9,200 domestic tourists staying, while international tourists stayed up to nearly 136,000. International tourists staying in Ha Long Bay mainly came from the following countries: Korea, India, Europe and America.

The total revenue from ticket sales to visit Ha Long Bay in the first 3 months of 2024 reached nearly 200 billion VND. It is expected that in 2024, revenue from ticket sales to visit the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay will exceed 800 billion VND.

It is expected that in April and May 2024, the number of tourists to Ha Long Bay will increase sharply because it is entering the peak season of island tourism. In addition, there are many tourism stimulus activities in Quang Ninh province, notably Canarval Ha Long 2024 held on April 30.

In 2023, Ha Long Bay World Natural Heritage will welcome more than 2.46 million visitors, including more than 1.15 million international tourists, with revenue from ticket sales to visit the Bay reaching nearly 720 billion VND .
