VN-Index lost 2 points in the first session of the week, liquidity decreased

NDO - On April 28, the Vietnamese stock market opened with red dominating. In the afternoon session, the return of buyers helped the index regain the reference level, but by the end of the session, selling pressure increased again, causing the index to close in red. At the end of the session, VN-Index decreased by 2.43 points, down to 1,226.8 points.

Foreign investors net sold 146.99 billion VND on all 3 exchanges, focusing on codes VHM (18.83 billion VND), FPT (102.31 billion VND), GEX (68.79 billion VND), BID (51.48 billion VND), VNM (38.90 billion VND)...

In the opposite direction, the codes that were net bought a lot in this session included MBB (108.55 billion VND), SAB (54.45 billion VND), VIC (51.97 billion VND), HDB (48.47 billion VND), NVL (37.62 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session reached 12,281 billion VND.

In this session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increased by more than 3.7 points include: VIC, SAB, GEE, LPB, SSB, NVL, HAG, MBB, HDB, LGC.

On the contrary, the stocks that negatively impacted the VN-Index by more than 6.9 points included: VHM, FPT, BID, VNM, CTG, GVR, VJC, PLX, KDH, GEX.

In terms of industry groups, this session, the software stock group was in red, down sharply by 2.49%, mainly from FPT, CMG, HPT, CMT...

Real estate stocks this session were in the red and decreased by 1.13%, mainly from codes VHM, BCM, KDH, KBC, VPI, DXG, IDC, TCH, NLG... On the contrary, the codes that increased included VIC, NVL, KSF, VRE, SSH, SIP...

Energy stocks had a positive trading session, up 0.38%, mainly from codes BSR , TMB, PVC, TVD, AAH, THT, PSB, ITS... Declining codes included PVS, CST, PVB, NBC, MDC...

The group of raw material stocks this session was differentiated, down 0.19 - 0.42%, mainly from codes HPG, GVR, KSV, VGC, BMP, HT1, DPR, TDP, AAA, RTB... On the contrary, the codes that increased included DGC, MSR, DCM, DPM, NTP, HSG, VCS, VIF...

Insurance stocks had a less positive trading session, down 0.17%, mainly from codes BVH, PVI, PGI, VNR, BIC, BLI... Increasing direction included MIG, BMI, PTI, ABI, AIC...

Retail stocks were differentiated, increasing by 0.34%, mainly from codes MWG, PNJ, FRT, DGW, VFG, PET, TLP, SVC... On the contrary, the codes that decreased included PLX, OIL, SAS, HHS, CTF, HTM, DP1...

* The Vietnam stock market index decreased and closed in red, VNXALL-Index closed down 1.44 points (-0.07%), at 2,029.25 points. Liquidity with a trading volume of more than 634.50 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 13,996.02 billion. In the whole market, there were 188 stocks increasing in price, 87 stocks remaining unchanged and 174 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 211.45 points, down 0.27 points (-0.13%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 45.45 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND721.37 billion. In the whole market, there were 89 stocks increasing in price, 61 stocks remaining unchanged and 73 stocks decreasing in price.

The HNX30 index closed down 0.13 points (-0.03%) to 413.27 points. Trading volume reached over 24.47 million units, equivalent to over VND446.50 billion. In the whole market, 12 stocks increased in price, 7 stocks remained unchanged and 11 stocks decreased in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 92.25 points, down 0.02 points (-0.02%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 50.98 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over 535.55 billion VND. In the whole market, there were 163 stocks increasing in price, 69 stocks remaining unchanged and 139 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed down 2.43 points (-0.20%), to 1,226.8 points. Liquidity reached over 679.78 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over VND14,152.99 billion. The entire floor had 235 stocks increasing, 79 stocks remaining unchanged and 262 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index decreased by 4.86 points (-0.37%) and stopped at 1,312.32 points. Liquidity reached more than 267.96 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 7,497.02. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 15 stocks increasing, 2 stocks remaining unchanged and 13 stocks decreasing.

The 5 stocks with the highest trading volume are SHB (over 54.22 million units), HAG (over 28.11 million units), NVL (over 27.38 million units), MBB (over 23.07 million units), VIX (over 18.9 million units).
