Novak Djokovic defeated Daniil Medvedev in the 2023 US Open final to win his fourth title and set a new record of 24 Grand Slam titles.

Tennis player Novak Djokovic defeated Daniil Medvedev with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (7/5), 6-3 in the men's singles final of the 2023 US Open tennis tournament that took place early on the morning of September 11, Hanoi time, thereby winning the Championship Cup for the 4th time and setting a new record of 24 Grand Slam titles.

Two years ago, Medvedev defeated Djokovic in the US Open final after three sets and this year, the Serbian player successfully "revenge" by winning after three sets to be crowned the 2023 US Open.

Medvedev had previously surprised the experts by defeating top seed Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, Djokovic's victory over Ben Shelton in the other semi-final was expected because the home player was much less experienced and less qualified.

Statistically, Djokovic is superior in head-to-head matches, having beaten the Russian in nine of their previous 14 encounters.

But in the last two encounters this season, the score is 1-1. Djokovic won in the Adelaide International semi-finals, while Medvedev won the same in the Dubai semi-finals.
