On the afternoon of November 5, a waterspout appeared off the coast of Phuoc Hoi ward, Lam Dong province, surprising many fishermen. Earlier, at around 4:30 p.m. the same day, people at La Gi fishing port (Phuoc Hoi ward) discovered a whirlpool tens of meters high forming in the sea, about two nautical miles from shore. This is the second time in a week that this rare phenomenon has occurred in Phuoc Hoi ward. Previously, on the afternoon of October 30, residents in the coastal area of ​​Phuoc Hoi ward also witnessed the appearance of a waterspout that lasted for more than 10 minutes. At around 10pm on October 28, a tornado several dozen meters high appeared in Thanh Tung commune, Ca Mau province.
