2027 Kia Telluride SUV revealed ahead of official launch

The new generation 2027 KIA Telluride flagship SUV is expected to officially launch globally on November 20 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, USA.

Before the launch, KIA suddenly released a series of new images of the 2027 Telluride SUV in a unique camouflage, revealing part of its appearance and innovative spirit of art, technology and off-road performance.

In the teaser video filmed in the Alabama Hills area of ​​California, the new generation Telluride appears impressively when crossing rough roads, affirming its off-road capabilities.

Although still covered in full-body camouflage, the sturdy lines and powerful figure of Kia's flagship SUV Telluride 2027 have already scored points with car enthusiasts.

Unlike traditional camouflage, which is more technical, KIA has turned the Telluride into a work of art on wheels. According to Tom Kearns, senior vice president and director of design at KIA Design Center America, his team took inspiration from contemporary artists like Keith Haring and Mr. Doodle to create this special wrap.

The bodywork is a blend of hundreds of Telluride sketches from the earliest stages of design, both to conceal the car’s true form and to honor the years of work that went into its creation. The camouflage is not only distinctive in its lines, but also in its gradient from orange at the front to purple at the rear.

The color transition symbolizes the dynamic spirit of adventure combined with the leisurely journey of discovery – something that KIA wants to clearly express in the personality of the new generation Telluride. Another interesting detail is the geographic coordinates (37.9375° N, 107.8123° W) subtly printed on the door edge, leading to the town of Telluride – the inspiration for the name of this model.

The 2027 Telluride is also the next product imbued with the "Opposites United" design philosophy - a philosophy introduced by KIA since 2021 under the leadership of Mr. Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Director of Global Design.

Inspired by the contrasts between nature and humanity, this philosophy aims to reconcile strong shapes with soft, sculpted surfaces, strength with serenity. The entire design language of the new Telluride is shaped by five pillars: Bold for Nature, Joy for Reason, Power to Progress, Technology for Life and Tension for Serenity.

The new generation Telluride will be officially revealed on November 20 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Experts and consumers are looking forward to comprehensive upgrades in design, technology and driving dynamics, continuing the success of the model that has won the “Best SUV of the Year” award many times in the US.
