Nam A Bank increases interest rates, highest up to 6.3%/year

According to Lao Dong, on August 24, Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Nam A Bank) issued a new interest rate schedule, recording an increase of 0.1-0.4 percentage points for most terms.

Nam A Bank's online deposit interest rate table records the following changes:

One-month interest rate increased by 0.4 percentage points, to 3.5%/year.

3-month term interest rate increased by 0.3 percentage points, to 4.1%/year.

6-month term interest rate increased by 0.4 percentage points, to 5.0%/year.

The 9-month term interest rate increased by 0.1 percentage point to 5.2%/year.

12-month term interest rate increased by 0.2 percentage points, to 5.6%/year.

Interest rate for 18-36 month term is 5.8%/year.

Nam A Bank's counter deposit interest rates are currently listed as follows:

1-month term interest rate is 3.2%/year.

3-month term interest rate is 3.8%/year.

6-month term interest rate is 4.7%/year.

9-month term interest rate at 5.0%/year.

12-month term interest rate at 5.3%/year.

Interest rate for 18-36 month term is 5.6%/year.

In addition, Bac A Bank currently lists special interest rates for 24-month and 36-month deposit terms.

Accordingly, customers depositing for a 24-month term with interest at the end of the term, with deposits of VND 500 billion or more, apply an interest rate of 5.80%/year and are approved by the General Director.

Customers depositing for a term of 36 months with interest at the end of the term with a deposit of 500 billion VND or more apply an interest rate of 6.30%/year and are approved by the General Director.

Since the beginning of August, the market has recorded 16 banks increasing savings interest rates, including: Eximbank, ACB, Agribank, Sacombank, Saigonbank, VietBank, TPBank, CBBank, VIB, Dong A Bank, VPBank, Techcombank, SHB , VietBank, PVCombank, Nam A Bank.
