Comrade Lo Van Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Appraisal Council, chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial Office for Coordination of New Rural Construction briefly reported the results of the appraisal of dossiers and the level of criteria for communes meeting advanced new rural standards (Noong Het, Pom Lot, Thanh Xuong communes of Dien Bien district), communes meeting new rural standards (Quai To commune, Tuan Giao district and Pa Khoang, Dien Bien Phu city) and communes basically meeting new rural standards (Noong U commune, Dien Bien Dong district; Hua Ngai, Muong Cha district; communes: Mun Chung, Chieng Sinh, Tuan Giao district; communes: Hua Thanh, He Muong district, Dien Bien district). Specifically, for the communes proposed for consideration and recognition of advanced new rural areas, including: Noong Het commune met 12/19 criteria, basically met 5/19 criteria, and did not meet 2/19 criteria; Pom Lot commune met 12/19 criteria, 4/19 criteria were basically met, and did not meet 3/19 criteria; Thanh Xuong commune meets 13/19 criteria, basically meets 4/19 criteria, has not met 1/19 criteria and the criterion not considered is 01/19 criteria. For the communes proposed for consideration and recognition of meeting new rural standards, including: Pa Khoang commune meets 12/19 criteria, basically meets 7/19 criteria; Quai To commune meets 12/19 criteria, some villages meet 7/19 criteria. For the communes proposed for basically meeting new rural standards, including: Mun Chung commune meets 8/19 criteria, basically meets 5/19, has not met 6/19 criteria; Chieng Sinh commune meets 11/19 criteria, basically meets 4/19 criteria, has not met 4/19 criteria; Hua Thanh commune met 7/19 criteria, basically met 7/19 criteria, did not meet 4/19 criteria and 1 criterion was not considered or evaluated; He Muong commune met 11/19 criteria, basically met 6/19 criteria, did not meet 2/19 criteria; Noong U commune met 12/19 criteria, basically met 4/19 criteria, did not meet 3/19 criteria; Hua Ngai commune met 10/19 criteria, basically met 3/19 criteria and did not meet 6/19 criteria.
The representative of the Provincial Office of New Rural Construction Coordination briefly reported the results of the dossier appraisal at the meeting.
After giving opinions and discussing the results achieved by each commune, the members of the Appraisal Council voted to consider recognition. As a result, 3 communes were recognized as meeting the advanced new rural standards: Noong Het, Thanh Xuong, Pom Lot; 2 communes: Pa Khoang and Quai To met the new rural standards; 6 communes were basically meeting the new rural standards: Noong U, Hua Ngai, Mun Chung, Chieng Sinh, Hua Thanh, He Muong./.
