Entering the match, the two teams played fiercely. Foreign player Natalia Lijewska (VTV Binh Dien Long An) made a few mistakes in the first step but still scored quite well. When the match was in balance, thanks to a serve from middle blocker Nataliya Borisenko, Zhetysu suddenly took the lead 12-9.

The Vietnamese representative tried to catch up but failed. Losing control of the game, Long An let their opponent score consecutive points, thus accepting defeat with a difference of 14-25 in the opening set.

In set 2, VTV Binh Dien Long An made many breakthrough adjustments. Tra My and Nhu Anh were placed in the starting lineup from the beginning, bringing a new breeze to the playing style. In particular, Tra My's solid and effective serves helped Long An create a long scoring streak, quickly taking the lead. Up front, Vi Quynh and Thanh Thuy shone brightly. This pair continuously scored points, bringing Long An a deep 9-2 lead in just the first part of the set. The coordination between the setters and the hitters became smoother.

With her classy finishing moves, Thanh Thuy continued to be the team's spiritual leader. Thanks to her overwhelming position and high fighting spirit, Long An easily closed out set 2 with a convincing 25-20 victory, bringing the match back to balance.

In set 3, VTV Binh Dien Long An entered the game with great enthusiasm. Coach Thai Quang Lai's students continuously broke the opponent's first step and took advantage of freeballs to score points, making Kazakhstan sweat a lot. The game then became extremely attractive with dramatic score chases.

Long An was slightly better thanks to the excellence of Vi Quynh and Thanh Thuy, but Zhetysu showed his class when he persistently equalized at 17-17. A mistake in the back row caused Long An to lose two consecutive first-round shots, creating an opportunity for Zhetysu to take the lead for the first time at 21-20. In the end, Zhetysu won this set with confidence at 23-25.

In the fourth set, Kazakhstan played more and more well, their attacks were almost unstoppable. On Long An's side, only Vi Quynh maintained her scoring efficiency when Thanh Thuy showed signs of fatigue. Natalia Lijewska was brought in to replace Tra My to increase the attack, but it was not enough to make a difference.

Karina Denisova's powerful 4th-side shots left Long An completely helpless, losing with a score of 18-25. In the end, Zhetysu excellently defeated Long An after 4 sets with a score of 3-1 (25-14, 20-25, 25-23, 25-18), winning the match.
