The producer said Paradise Island was strictly censored because it was broadcast on VTV3 and JTBC channels in Korea. The dating game show does not exploit sensitive images and limits controversial content.

On July 3, the producer of Island heaven broadcast date announcement. The island dating show was copyrighted by the Vietnamese crew from Korea, co-produced with Vietnam Television.

Over the years, audiences have been fed up with dating TV shows. Quality game show degraded, poor content makes viewers turn away. Paradise Island is a rare dating show with a strong investment. The producer attracted attention when announcing that the game show would be broadcast on prime time on VTV and JTBC television stations, Korea.

Former model Huynh Thanh Tuyen, representative of the producer, shared at the introduction of the game show Paradise Island.

At the introduction, the media asked many questions related to the image and content of Paradise Island. Due to exploiting love stories, dating shows are often considered sensitive, and the upcoming program is no exception.

Regarding this, the producer representative affirmed that drama is a necessary element of the game show, but it must be based on real events. The program also does not exploit sensitive images.

"Entertainment programs broadcast on national television are strictly censored. As producers, we only exploit quality content that is suitable for television stations in Vietnam and Korea," the crew representative replied.

The organizers also said they anticipate risks and conflicting opinions when organizing a dating show. The company requires contestants to sign a confidentiality contract to limit any unwanted situations.

Regarding the question "dating game shows are mainly acting", the producer said the element of authenticity is emphasized in Paradise Island, through the emotions and empathy of the audience.

"The crew creates a space and setting for players to meet and express their emotions. Appearance is important but not everything," said the producer.

The first season of Paradise Island brings together players from Vietnam and Korea. The contestants live in a shared house and do the same activities. The players are completely isolated from society and demonstrate their superiority through a series of challenges. Players who do not attract the attention of their opponents will be eliminated.

"With the desire to find love, contestants overcome barriers of geography, language, culture, lifestyle and aim to conquer the hearts of the people they admire and want to date after the show," the producer representative said about the show's message.

Director Nguyen Quang Dung plays the role of advisor on the game show.

The first season's dating location of Paradise Island is Phu Quoc Island. The producers want to promote the tourism image of Pearl Island to international friends, first of all Koreans.

In addition to Vietnamese and Korean contestants, the program invited artists to participate as advisors, including runner-up Thao Nhi Le and director Nguyen Quang Dung.

"I have worked with foreigners and have films remake from Korea. This time, I hope to learn from the experience of the foreign team. I hope the program is successful, contributing to promoting the beauty, tourism and people of Vietnam to international friends," said Nguyen Quang Dung.

Paradise Island is scheduled to air at 9:30 p.m. every Saturday on VTV3, after the broadcast time of Brother Overcoming a Thousand Congestions.
