Awarding Decision to Director of Social Insurance Region VIII

/5, in Ha Long City, Vietnam Social Security held a conference to announce the decision of the Director of Vietnam Social Security on personnel work.

Mr. Dao Viet Anh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Social Security, presented the Decision of the Director of Vietnam Social Security to Mr. Bui Minh Duc (left), Director of Social Security Region VIII.

At the conference, Mr. Dao Viet Anh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Social Security, presented the Decision on early retirement (according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree 67/2025/ND-CP) to Mr. Vu Xuan Hien, Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Social Security.

The conference also announced the transfer and awarded the Decision of the Director of Vietnam Social Security to Mr. Bui Minh Duc, Director of Hai Phong City Social Security, as Director of Social Security Region VIII (Quang Ninh). Quang Ninh Provincial Social Security officially changed the name of Social Security Region VIII from June 1, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of Vietnam Social Security Dao Viet Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding contributions of Mr. Vu Xuan Hien throughout his working process; especially since March 2017 in his position as Director of Quang Ninh Social Security. During many years in the position of Director, Mr. Vu Xuan Hien has always completed his tasks excellently; was highly appreciated and trusted by the leaders of Vietnam Social Security as well as the officers and employees of the Quang Ninh Social Security sector. Mr. Vu Xuan Hien officially retired from June 1, 2025.

Deputy Director of Vietnam Social Security presented the Decision on early retirement to former Director of Quang Ninh Provincial Social Security Vu Xuan Hien.

Receiving the new assignment, Deputy Director of Vietnam Social Security Dao Viet Anh hopes that Mr. Bui Minh Duc will continue to promote his role, responsibility, capacity, and strengths with the collective of the Social Security Agency of Region VIII to perform well the tasks of the industry as well as at the local and grassroots levels. At the same time, he requested that local Social Security agencies merge by region, urgently review all assigned targets and tasks, and hand over the organization, finance, accounting, and personnel in accordance with the instructions, to avoid negative impacts that affect the rights of people and businesses.

After receiving the Decision of Director of Social Insurance Region VIII, Mr. Bui Minh Duc expressed his gratitude for the trust of the leaders of Vietnam Social Insurance and the collective agency where he works. He affirmed to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, discipline, creativity, best serving the interests of the people and workers, contributing to the effective implementation of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies, towards the goal of ensuring sustainable social security in the area.
