Regarding the incident, student HGB (grade 12 student at Cao Ba Quat School) said that the homeroom teacher called her parents and invited her to come to school to write an application to return to school.

According to HGB, after submitting the application, when she and her mother returned home, the homeroom teacher called and asked her to rewrite the application according to her suggestions to resubmit it.

"She added a suggestion in my application: "I was impulsive so I wrote an application to reserve my results." However, at that time, I still wanted to go to school and did not voluntarily write the application, but she said it was harsh so I had to write it. Therefore, I have not rewritten the application as she requested," said HGB.

After that, this teacher called to inform the parents that the graduation exam registration deadline had expired, and asked them to complete the application as soon as possible so that the school could ask the Department of Education and Training to handle it.

Regarding the issue of HGB's request to return to school, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province said that they will direct a review and consideration.

Responding to the press, a representative of Cao Ba Quat High School informed that this school year, 16 12th grade students "voluntarily" dropped out of school or asked to reserve their results.

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper, many 12th grade students of Cao Ba Quat High School "voluntarily" submitted applications to leave school or reserve their results after being invited to a discussion by the school.

In particular, the above-mentioned student HGB, after receiving the results of the mid-term exam for the second semester, the homeroom teacher invited her and her parents to meet the principal, Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue. After being "confided" by the principal, student HGB was upset and wrote a request to leave school, reserving the results when there were more than 2 months left for the graduation exam.

A few days later, Ms. HMB texted the homeroom teacher asking her child to return to school, but the teacher replied: "No, the principal has approved it." When the student begged to return to school, the teacher texted: "I'll return your diploma at 9:35 at the school gate."

Then, on April 29, Ms. HMB went to school to meet Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Hue to ask for her child to go back to school. Here, the principal said: "HGB was not approved for the graduation exam, and did not pass the exam..." and encouraged her to go back to school next year. At this time, Ms. HMB begged that she had a few more months to go, hoping that the teacher would let her go back to school, but Ms. Hue said: "The school has been abolished, how can she go back to school? Okay, I thought something happened, go home."

According to the mid-term exam results, HGB got 4.8 points in math and above 5 points in the other subjects.

Similarly, after being invited to work by the school, two 12th grade students, YTA and YLE, with low academic scores, also "voluntarily" wrote a letter of request to leave school and reserve their results. These two students are currently working as porters.
