(NLDO) – Today's gold price for SJC gold bars and 99.99 gold rings suddenly decreased again, going against the world's upward trend.

On the morning of December 30, SJC Company listed the buying price of SJC gold bars at 82.5 million VND/tael and the selling price at 84.5 million VND/tael, down 200,000 VND/tael compared to the weekend.

Some other gold companies such as Mi Hong, PNJ, Bao Tin Minh Chau maintain the selling price of SJC gold bars at 84.7 million VND/tael; while DOJI sells gold bars at a lower price, 84.3 million VND/tael.

There is also a difference in buying price between businesses, due to the difference in buying and selling price ranging from 700,000 VND to 2 million VND/tael. For example, Mi Hong buys gold bars for up to 84.2 million VND/tael.

SJC gold bar price drops again at the beginning of the week

Banks such as ACB , Eximbank, and Sacombank sell SJC gold bars at the same price of 84.5 million VND/tael, while the buying price has a difference, ranging from 82.5 - 83.8 million VND/tael.

Not only gold bars, but also gold rings and jewelry prices of all kinds also decreased again. SJC Company bought plain gold rings for 82.5 million VND/tael and sold for 84.3 million VND/tael, down 200,000 VND per tael.

PNJ, Mi Hong, Bao Tin Minh Chau companies sell plain gold rings at around 84.7 million VND/tael; DOJI sells at a lower price of 84.3 million VND/tael. Meanwhile, the buying price fluctuates from 83.1 - 84 million VND/tael.

In the international market, the gold price today opened the trading week at around 2,625 USD/ounce, up 4 USD per ounce compared to the previous session.

Precious metals on the international market rebounded but the amplitude was not large.

Analysts say gold prices will hardly fluctuate strongly in the last two days of 2024, possibly fluctuating around 2,600 - 2,620 USD/ounce.

SJC gold bar price fluctuated within a narrow range last week

In particular, gold prices are unlikely to break out as the USD index in the international market remains high at around 107.7 points; the yield on 10-year US bonds has reached its highest level in many months, around 4.64% per year.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 80.8 million VND/tael.
