Stop implementing the writing contest 'Proud of 80 years of building and developing Vietnam Customs'

(PLVN) - The Customs Department has recently announced the suspension of the Writing Contest "Proud of 80 years of building and developing Vietnam Customs". The Organizing Committee of the Contest will directly contact individuals with entries to pay for writing and select appropriate entries to post on media platforms managed by the Customs Department after discussing and receiving the consent of the author of the entry.

On October 24, 2024, the General Department of Customs (now the Customs Department) issued a press release on the launch of the writing contest "Proud of 80 years of building and developing Vietnam Customs", the time for receiving entries is from October 24, 2024 to April 30, 2025. However, by the end of the time as announced, the number of entries sent to the Organizing Committee was not many, not suitable for the proposed scale of the organization.

Based on the assessment of the current situation of the contest and to focus resources on implementing the political tasks of the Industry in the coming time, the Customs Department announces the suspension of the writing contest "Proud of 80 years of building and developing Vietnam Customs".

To ensure the rights of individuals who have submitted entries in accordance with the rules, the Organizing Committee of the contest will directly contact individuals with entries to pay for writing and select appropriate entries to post on media platforms managed by the Customs Department after discussing and receiving the consent of the author of the entry.
