The region has successfully organized the Party Congress, the grassroots Party Committee and the direct superiors at the grassroots level to do it first, drawing experience for the entire Army Corps and the Ministry of National Defense ; effectively deployed training for the subjects according to the program and plan; organized live ammunition firing to meet the targets and requirements, ensuring absolute safety.

Lieutenant Colonel Bui Xuan Binh, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Region, disseminated the Resolution on leadership tasks for the last 6 months of the year.

In defense diplomacy, Party work, political work, logistics, engineering and mass mobilization, Naval Region 4 continues to achieve many positive results. Many practical activities such as propaganda about seas and islands; propaganda against illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; the program "Vietnam Navy as a fulcrum for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea" and the model "Navy sponsors fishermen's children" have been effectively implemented and widely spread.

Sea rescue work continues to be a bright spot, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and affection of the Navy. The region has organized rescue; provided first aid and treatment to fishermen; rescued and towed distressed ships; supported the transport of fishermen to islands and shore for treatment and handed over one foreigner in distress at sea... thereby contributing to strengthening the people's trust at sea.

Speaking at the conference, Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan praised the efforts of officers and soldiers of the entire Region in carrying out key political tasks, and at the same time requested Party committees and commanders at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement directives and resolutions of superiors; strictly maintain discipline and combat readiness regime; improve the quality of political education work, research level, forecasting, and situation handling; complete well the drill contents according to plan, ensuring absolute safety.

The Head of the Regional Command awarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.

At the conference, authorized by the Minister of National Defense, the Head of the Regional Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 35 collectives and 46 individuals with outstanding achievements in performing tasks in the 2023-2024 period; and awarded the title "Emulation Fighter of the Whole Army" to 1 individual with outstanding achievements continuously from 2022 to 2024.
