The region has successfully organized the Party Congress, the grassroots Party Committee and the direct superiors at the grassroots level to do it first, drawing experience for the entire Army Corps and the Ministry of National Defense ; effectively deployed training for the subjects according to the program and plan; organized live ammunition firing to meet the targets and requirements, ensuring absolute safety.

Lieutenant Colonel Bui Xuan Binh, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Region, disseminated the Resolution on leadership tasks for the last 6 months of the year.

In defense diplomacy, Party work, political work, logistics, engineering and mass mobilization, Naval Region 4 continued to achieve many positive results. Many practical activities such as propaganda about seas and islands; propaganda against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU); the program "Vietnam Navy as a support for fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea" and the model "Navy sponsors fishermen's children" were effectively implemented and widely spread.

Sea rescue work continues to be a bright spot, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and affection of the Navy. The region has organized rescue; first aid and treatment for fishermen; towed distressed ships; supported the transport of fishermen to the island and shore for treatment and handed over 1 foreigner in distress at sea... thereby contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the sea.

Speaking at the conference, Rear Admiral Nguyen Anh Tuan praised the efforts of the entire region's officers and soldiers in carrying out key political tasks, and at the same time requested Party committees and commanders at all levels to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement directives and resolutions of higher levels; strictly maintain discipline and combat readiness regime; improve the quality of politicaleducation work, research, forecasting and situation handling; complete well the drills according to plan, ensuring absolute safety.

At the conference, authorized by the Minister of National Defense, the Head of the Regional Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 35 collectives and 46 individuals with outstanding achievements in performing tasks in the 2023-2024 period; awarded the title "Emulation Fighter of the Whole Army" to 1 individual with outstanding achievements continuously from 2022 to 2024.
