Accordingly, there were no human casualties in the area. Regarding property, public works, headquarters, schools and houses were safe, no roofs were blown off, no flooding. Total damage to aquaculture in the commune was estimated at 6.5 billion VND. Of which, Ninh Ma village had 35 mussel rafts severely damaged, estimated damage of 1 billion VND; 8 snail ponds and 2 shrimp ponds broke their banks, estimated damage of 2.5 billion VND. Tuan Le village had 30 oyster and mussel farming households with damage of 30 million VND/household; 1 shrimp pond broke its bank, estimated damage of 1.6 billion VND. Vinh Yen village had 1 fish pond broken its bank, estimated damage of 500 million VND.
Immediately after the storm passed, the Commune People's Committee directed the Southeast and Northeast villages to coordinate with the forces to handle the amount of sand washed up by the waves on the embankment, 40-50cm thick, 1,500m long; and to repair the drainage system along the embankment that was covered by sand. Professional activities were maintained smoothly, without interruption after the storm.
