Dai Lanh Commune: Aquaculture households on rafts have been brought safely ashore.

On the afternoon of November 6, Mr. Pham Truc Viet - Chairman of Dai Lanh Commune People's Committee said that up to this point, the locality's preparations have been completed and it is ready to respond when the storm arrives.

At 3:15 p.m. on November 6, in the Dai Lanh sea area, there were waves higher than 1 meter and strong winds. The locality coordinated with relevant units to prepare facilities, necessities, medicine and necessary means to respond to storm No. 13; proactively prepared loudspeakers to promptly serve propaganda work when there was a power outage and propaganda in island villages.

A number of ships have come ashore for safe shelter.

Previously, all boats, ships, rafts and workers on the rafts were pulled to a safe area; arrangements were made for the workers on the boats and rafts to come ashore to safely take shelter from the storm.

Boats in Dam Mon sea area have been anchored in a safe place.

The Commune People's Committee has directed the unit to be on duty and receive information on storm developments 24/7, promptly informing relevant units to implement; establishing disaster prevention and control teams in villages to proactively implement plan 4 on the spot.

Authorities brought people from rafts to shore.

The Commune People's Committee coordinated with the functional forces to force 18 households raising cages to safely ashore; evacuated people in areas at risk of landslides and flooding to safe shelters. In addition, the locality continued to propagate, mobilize, and inspect key areas, islands, and shrimp and fish farming rafts in the commune to ensure safety in the work of preventing and fighting storm No. 13.
