| A landslide occurred in Khanh Son commune. |
According to statistics from Khanh Son Commune People's Committee, as of 3:00 p.m. on November 19, floods had flooded and fallen more than 2,500 durian trees and 300 coffee trees; 10 cows were swept away; 17 fish ponds, 17 water storage ponds, 64 water pumps, and 1,000 meters of electricity lines for people's production were damaged. Floods also caused landslides at 13 traffic points on Provincial Road 9 (through the commune) and roads managed by the commune, making it difficult for people to travel. Some points were flooded locally, causing temporary traffic disruptions such as: Lo Gach Bridge, Ta Luong Bridge, Ta Gu Bridge, bridges leading to Xom Co village... In addition, in Hap Thinh village and Lien Hiep village, 4 households had their houses damaged by landslides, rocks, and fallen pine trees. Regarding infrastructure, some riverbank protection embankments and suspension bridges were eroded and damaged, and some electric poles fell.
To date, although there have been no recorded human losses due to floods, there is one case of someone who left home on November 16 and has not returned and cannot be contacted. The authorities are actively implementing search plans. Currently, Khanh Son commune is urgently overcoming the consequences of floods and supporting poor and isolated households. At the same time, continue to seriously implement disaster response plans, count the damage to have a plan to overcome and support people in the coming days.
