Muong Khoa Commune has 86 poor households (accounting for 5.52%) and 105 near-poor households (accounting for 6.74%). The total number of households requesting to remove temporary and dilapidated houses according to Directive No. 42/CT-TTg, dated November 9, 2024 of the Prime Minister is 34 households, of which 32 households are newly built and 2 households are repaired. The subjects include: 3 households with meritorious services (1 household newly built, 2 households repaired); 17 poor households and 14 near-poor households (newly built).
Determined to complete the goal of eliminating all temporary and dilapidated houses before May 31, 2025 for eligible households, the Party Standing Committee directed the government, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, and villages to strengthen propaganda work on the purpose and significance of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for people with revolutionary contributions, poor households, and near-poor households.
The Steering Committee for the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses of the commune coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district to organize a launching ceremony to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Nam So village, Muong Khoa commune.
The representative of the Party Committee of the commune awarded Certificates of Merit to the collectives with achievements in eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
Promote the role of socio- political organizations, party members, union members, association members, and other forces to actively participate in supporting the program. Timely encourage collectives and individuals to actively participate in supporting and helping poor households build houses... Commune mass organizations propagate 18 sessions/986 people; mobilize union members and association members to support households with 270 working days...
By May 31, the commune had completed the construction of 34/34 temporary and dilapidated houses in 7 villages. The newly built and repaired houses met standards with a total cost of 4.84 billion VND. The counterpart funding for households alone was 2.86 billion VND.
Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and the Party Committee of the commune presented gifts and pictures of Uncle Ho to poor households.
On this occasion, the Chairman of Muong Khoa Commune People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 8 individuals with achievements in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025; presented gifts and photos of Uncle Ho to poor households subject to the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.
