Verifying clip of man assaulting and dragging a woman in apartment building in HCMC

On the evening of December 3, the authorities of Ward 25, Binh Thanh District (HCMC) are coordinating with relevant units to verify and clarify a clip circulating on social media recording a scene of a man and a woman assaulting another woman in the lobby of a building.

Through investigation, the incident occurred at around 11:30 on November 19 at an apartment building in Ward 25, Binh Thanh District.

The man grabbed the woman's hair and continuously kicked her (Photo cut from clip).

According to the clip, the man and woman were sitting in the apartment lobby. After seeing two women in their 30s just getting out of the elevator, they immediately approached them.

Here, the woman attacked the man in black while the man knocked the woman in yellow to the ground and dragged her out into the hall.

Immediately after that, both of them continuously used their hands and feet to hit the man in yellow shirt even though he could not fight back.

During the assault, the man kept saying: "Did you hit my brother? Did you play with toys?"

The woman said, "Do you know that my brother is a lawyer? I'll let you go now."

At that time, there were many witnesses, including security guards, but the woman was still assaulted for many minutes.
