According to Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Thanh Ward, Vu Ngoc Tuat, 80 years ago, the Popular Education Movement contributed to eliminating illiteracy for millions of Vietnamese people. Today, amid the wave of technology and digital transformation, this spirit has been rekindled, with a new name - Digital Popular Education. The movement helps people learn to master technology, not be left behind and create a digital future.

At the program, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thanh Ward, Hoang Mai Quynh Hoa, launched 53 1-2-3 shock teams (1 is the target, 2 is the priority group, 3 is the specific method) and a model of one group per neighborhood learning digital transformation at 20 community activity points.
Volunteer teams participate in guiding people, especially the elderly and disadvantaged, to use online public services, make cashless payments, and prevent technology fraud...

The activities aim to affirm the determination to strongly implement digital transformation from the local level, contributing to realizing the goal of building a smart, modern, and humane urban area of Ho Chi Minh City.
At the launching program, 53 neighborhoods registered 140 emulation projects from upgrading urban infrastructure, caring for social security to protecting the environment with a total mobilized budget of more than 2 billion VND.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, young people held a popular digital literacy class at a cafe in Binh Thanh Ward. The class attracted a large number of people, especially the elderly, to participate.
